“Wow! What a welcome… from the Elephants drinking out of the swimming pool below the main lodge deck to the professional, efficient and friendly staff giving us chilled fruity drinks as we stepped out of our vehicle. The lodges encircle the water holes providing constant wildlife interest, and the rooms were “Out of Africa” luxurious with great attention to creature comforts. Apart from spectacular game viewing on all our drives, on the last morning we had the unexpected privilege of six Wild Dogs, a lone Sable and a lone Hyaena drinking at the waterhole in front of our lodge! An incredible finale to an awesome two days at Nehimba.” -addenbrooke2015
“My husband and I spent three nights at the Nehimba lodge as our last safari experience on our honeymoon. Our experience was amazing, from the bottle of champagne and warm bath ready for us in our room on arrival, to tracking buffalo through the famous Nehimba seeps, to being 5 metres from an elephant as it helped itself to the swimming pool water as we sat around the fire drinking Amarulas! To Sarah, Butch, Aubrey and the rest of the team at Nehimba, we couldn’t have asked for anything more from our stay and we thank you so much for your hospitality! We hope we can come back and visit again!” -emnorris
“During a three week visit to Zimbabwe I made a three day stop at Nehimba Lodge located in Hwange National Park. We have used Nehimba since its opening for many of our groups and each time with rave reviews. My impromptu visit was welcomed with the same friendly staff that has been there from the onset. The rooms were tastefully decorated with extreme attention to detail. I came into my chalet to get ready for dinner after a day of game viewing and found a bubble bath in the large tub awaiting me! The meals were wonderful and well presented and all the grounds and buildings were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail by the staff makes Nehimba, in my opinion, one of the best lodges in Hwange National Park.” -tim416
