Hwange Safari Lodge is an oasis of luxury in the heart of the African Savannah. Surrounded by untouched wilderness our guests have access to all the modern amenities required to make their stay truly comfortable.
Hwange Safari Lodge has two restaurants one which is located outside with views of the watering hole. The swimming pool is a popular oasis for cooling down each day and the bar is the ideal place to relax after a safari. Africa is home of the safari, just as Zimbabwe is home of Hwange National Park, a wildlife conservancy famous the world over for its size and teeming population of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, all the big cats, hyena, wild dog, rhino and the world’s biggest elephant population.
The rooms are decorated in deep natural blues and browns with richly colored carpeting. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with both a bath tub and shower. All rooms have air conditioning, overhead fan and heating to ensure that guests can create the ideal atmosphere in their rooms.
Rooms range from spacious suites to comfortable standard rooms. Guests have a choice between twin beds or double beds, making the lodge flexible for accommodating conference and adventure groups, families or couples. Only selected rooms have televisions, in response to the express need of guests for a peaceful environment in which to get in touch with nature.

“You could hardly call this a lodge. It’s more hotel than lodge. What a location. It has all you need . Very good service. Excellent rooms and a great location. There is a water hole you can watch and see all numbers of the wildlife. Food is served alfresco so you can see animals while eating breakfast or lunch. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Overall it’s a great place to stay.” – Ian C
