“This was our 5th trip to Africa, and we came to Bomani after a week of work elsewhere in the country. This camp, for us, is perfect: not so luxurious that it seems out of place in the bush, yet completely comfortable. The meals were delicious, and it is amazing when you consider the difficulties of supply and monkeys continually raiding the kitchen. The staff is superb, attentive to every detail, highly competent, and warm in the wonderful style of their country. It was 105 degrees F in these last days before the rains, so an afternoon siesta felt critical. The tents are cooled by cross breezes and overhead fans, and we were comfortable. Our guide, Mike, was a fine human being and a very skilled guide. We especially loved the Elephant Encounter ( don’t be put off by the name). Learning about the community support offered by the Imvelo Company is impressive. We will hope to return when work brings us again to Zimbabwe.” -Hester S
“We had a wonderful 4 days here in September. The location is excellent and well worth the long drive. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly and they created a very special atmosphere. Our tent was very comfortable. The food and drink were excellent. Game drives with Aubrey were a real delight. He made it such fun and we saw some fantastic wildlife. Definitely worth a visit!” -hillwalker01
“We had a wonderful experience at the Bomani lodge last month. The staff was excellent and took great care of our group. The food was delicious; I loved breakfast around the campfire, and the wildlife viewing was amazing. We saw 2 cheetah when we first arrived and the sightings over the next few days were plentiful – lion, elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, caracal, hippo, zebra and much more. Bomani is a 4-5 hour total drive from Victoria Falls, but it is well worth the trip and experience. The night sky and star gazing was also fantastic.” -ANJ2
